Employee Spotlight: Ernesto Garcia Corona

ABOUT

Ernesto Garcia Corona has been a part of the South Mill family for the past 16 years. Originally from Yuriria, Mexico, Ernesto first arrived to the United States in 1977. He worked for several years in agriculture out West, before moving to the East Coast. He and his wife settled in Pennsylvania and have raised five children. Ernesto is the Assistant Harvesting Manager in Kennett Square. He likes his position at South Mill and thoroughly enjoys working with Harvesting Manager, Luis Hernandez. He hopes to remain a part of our team for many years to come. During his free time, Ernesto likes to go shopping for groceries and household items and loves to work on his car.   • Ernesto likes to go shopping for food and household items for his family and he enjoys working on his car.

Do you have any family who also work here?

  • Other than his daughter, Alejandra, who worked for us in Human Resources several years ago, Ernesto has no familiy members at South Mill.

What do you like most about working here?

  • Ernesto likes the way he is treated by Luis Hernandez, the Harvesting Manager he works with and by Armando before him. He also likes the work he does and being responsible.He hopes he will be here for a long time.
